Mermaids

These small statues are made of cast iron, a heavy natural material that rusts and reacts to its environment. Details are less evident in cast iron than in resin castings but cast iron has old-fashioned rustic charm. Some of the pieces are cast in stages, and the joining lines can be evident in the finished piece. This is not a defect, but an integral element of the process. Each piece is unique and small irregularities are normal. Cast iron is heavy, so please use caution when placing a sitting piece on a shelf or ledge where it might cause damage if it falls!
