Here Are My Best-selling Soaps
#1 Sea Salt Soap
My original salt soap, lavender, peppermint and rosemary give this soap a fresh and invigorating scent that perfectly matches the pale blue-green and white swirls. A bestseller since I first made it, many people swear by it as a bath and facial bar. Salt soaps are a little different than the soap you might be used to: they contain a large amount of fine sea salt that dissolves as the same rate as the soap does, it’s very solid and long-lasting. Rubbed directly on damp skin in the shower, it gently exfoliates without being scratchy. Used with a nylon bath puff, it makes lots of lather. See more about this and my other salt bars on the Sea Salt Soaps page.

#2 Shampoo Bars
Zero palm oil, SLS, petroleum by-products or preservatives!
My shampoo bars start with an herbal extract of marshmallow root and leaf ) no, not the candy!). Shea butter, coconut, castor and olive oils, silk, honey and made into soap using sodium hydroxide solution. Finally, for the Original Shampoo Bar, I add pure Moroccan argan oil and lavender, rosemary, orange peel and Ylang ylang flower oils - an uplifting herbal fragrance with unisex appeal. The Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar is scented with the same lavender, peppermint and rosemary blend that is so popular in my Sea Salt Soap bar. And the Unscented Shampoo Bar is the same base recipe, but with no added scent. See more about this and other natural hair care products here, and my Shampoo Bar FAQ, here. The newest addition is the Neem & Tea Tree shampoo bar. In addition to the marshmallow infusion, I use a decoction of soapnuts and neem leaf as part of the liquid portion of the soap. Neem oil is included in the base oils and jojoba is used for the superfatting oil. $6.60 each. |
#3 Cedar & Sage
#4 Wild Lavender
Lavender does seem to be just about everybody's favorite scent. This soap is scented with a combination of lavandin (a hybrid of cultivated lavender and wild spike lavender) and French lavender essential oils.
A new batch will be ready for sale at the end of August. Meanwhile, "That Soap That I Like" would be a good soap for lavender lovers to try: scented with French lavender oil in a shea butter base with goat milk and finely ground oatmeal and honey. $6.37

#5 Sandalwood
Real sandalwood essential oil is becoming extremely expensive and increasingly rare because of over-harvesting and illegal poaching. We use a sandalwood fragrance oil that has a persistent, sweet, and woody base note with a delicate, spicy, oriental undertone, very similar to real Mysore sandalwood oil. A shea butter-enriched soap colored deep red with Australian clay, with a white swirl and dissolved silk. Recently added to my line of 20% shea butter soaps.

#6 Pink Sands (Salt Soap)
The 3rd of my salt soaps in the top 7 best sellers. I created this primarily as a soap for the feet. It turned out, its scent was so popular my customers demanded I make a bath bar using the same scent blend (see Citrus Grove) which is orange peel oil and lemongrass, very sprightly and fresh. This salt soap also has fine pumice stone particles added to it so it’s like a soapy pumice stone. It also is great for very dirty or greasy hands, but too rough to be used as a body soap

#7 Irish Traveller
#8 Orange Blossom Special
#9 Morning Mint
#10 Yemaya
#11 Dead Sea Mud (Salt Soap)
This is the 5th of five of my salt soaps that are in my top 12 best sellers! This one is a spa-type bar with a generous amount of Dead Sea Mud, tea tree oil and activated charcoal. It is a bit grittier than the regular Sea Salt, Simply Salt or Marrakesh, providing more exfoliation and cleansing. If you want a super gritty bar for the hands and feet, try #7 Pink Sands (above)!

#13 Bay Rum
#14 Original Dry Skin Soap
I originally developed this recipe trying to make the most luxurious, decadent soap imaginable! It's an extremely rich bar made with emollient olive oil that has been infused with a selection of 8 organic herbs, 20% unrefined shea nut butter, coconut milk, pure essential plant oils, a touch of clay and dissolved silk, and then it is cured for a minimum of six weeks, to make a lovely naturally colored soap with dense creamy lather.
